Green Mtn Club’s Winter Education Workshops

The Green Mountain Club (VT) is offering three Wednesday sessions on Cold Weather Trekking.  The purpose is to learn what to wear and what to bring for a safe and successful winter trip.  GMC will discuss food, fleece, shells, socks, snowshoes, sweat, hats, handwarmers, hydration, boots, crampons, and long underwear.  This workshop is required for anyone planning to participate in GMC winter trips, unless you have previous winter hiking experience.  If you have never worn crampons, this workshop is for you.
